What comes to mind when you think of November? Sweater weather? Falling leaves? Pumpkin everything? Thanksgiving and/or The Election? (for those who live in the U.S.) A spirit of thankfulness or gratitude? Moving on to 2021? For me, it’s definitely a little of all of the above plus a spirit of thankfulness or gratitude. And because of this, I’m participating in a November Thankfulness Challenge
But, no matter what November means to you, we’re all navigating a whole new world together and what I know for sure is that …
We need LOVE + Connection now more than ever. It’s the only way we will continue to get through this very crazy & difficult time.
And another thing I know is that snail mail people are the kindest. Right now, in the Send Cards Spread Love Facebook group, members are continually connecting with their friends & family & sending love using the power of handwritten cards.
So in the spirit of the November themes of gratitude & thankfulness, I’ll be sending one card a day sharing why I’m thankful for each person AND I’d love for you to join me in The November Thankfulness Challenge.
IMPORTANT NOTE: If the idea of sending one card a day is overwhelming, then can you commit to one card a week? Or whatever feels right to you? I’m not here to add to anyone’s stress or tell you to add yet another should to your already overflowing to-do list. If I’m honest, the thought of sending 30 cards sounds daunting & I’m unsure if I’ll be able to keep up. However, I am committing to do my best & to do it imperfectly because…
The real point of this isn’t to check off 30 cards or pat myself on the back for doing something daily, it’s to spread more love, happiness, & joy & to make more meaningful connections + deepen my relationships.
So, if you’re in for the The November Thankfulness Challenge, there are 2 ways to participate:
- join us in the Send Cards Spread Love Facebook group (for accountability, a like-minded community & prizes!)
- Tag me on Instagram @prettybypost & use #sendcardsspreadlove (if FB isn’t your thing)
Also, if you’re in need of cards we offer several ways to get single purchases (no subscription!) of our gorgeous, unique & fun indie-designed cards. Check out our grab bags & single purchase collections.
Let me know in the comments if you’re joining me in The November Thankfulness Challenge.
And for those of you who like to keep track of your challenges, I’ve created a free Thankfulness Challenge Tracker for you.
Here’s to sending cards & spreading love!
