What comes to mind when you think of November? Sweater weather? Falling leaves? Pumpkin everything? Thanksgiving? (for those who live in the U.S.) A spirit of thankfulness or gratitude? The holidays & perhaps moving on to 2022?
For me, it’s definitely a little of all of the above plus a spirit of thankfulness or gratitude.
No matter what November means to you, what I know for sure is that …
We all need LOVE + Connection.
And because of this, I’m hosting the second annual November 2021 Thankfulness Challenge.
(Another thing I know is that snail mail people are the kindest. You’ve all shared wonderful stories with me on how you celebrate your relationships, create authentic connections & spread more joy & happiness in the world all by sending a handwritten card.)
Last year, in the spirit of the themes of gratitude & thankfulness, I sent one card a day in November, sharing why I’m thankful for each recipient AND I’d love for you to join me this year in what I’m calling The November Thankfulness Challenge.
IMPORTANT NOTE: If the idea of sending one card a day is overwhelming, then can you commit to one card a week? Or whatever feels right to you? I’m not here to add to anyone’s stress or tell you to add yet another should to your already overflowing to-do list. If sending 30 cards sounds daunting & you’re unsure if you’ll be able to keep up, just commit to do your best & to do this challenge imperfectly because…
The real point of this isn’t to check off 30 cards as another completed to-do or share on social media that you’re doing something daily (though celebrating your progress is always a good idea), it’s to spread more love, happiness, & joy & to make more meaningful connections + deepen your relationships.
So, if you’re in for the The November Thankfulness Challenge, there are two ways to participate:
- join us in the Send Cards Spread Love Facebook group (for accountability, a like-minded community & prizes!)
- Tag me on Instagram @prettybypost & use #sendcardsspreadlove (if FB isn’t your thing)
Also, if you’re in need of cards we offer several ways in addition to our bi-monthly subscriptions to get cards (without a subscription!). Check out our grab bags & single purchase collections filled with gorgeous, unique & fun indie-designed cards.
Let me know in the comments if you’re participating in The November Thankfulness Challenge.
And for those of you who like to keep track of your challenges, I’ve created a free Thankfulness Challenge Tracker for you (you’ll be added to our email list where you’ll receive a coupon code for free shipping on your first order, sneak peeks & special discounts not shared anywhere else)
Here’s to sending cards & spreading love,
