Day 17 of the 2016 #sendcardsspreadlove Challenge
So today, I want to share the cards I’ve sent so far. But first…
I wanted to start off by saying that I’ve been so inspired by each and every one of you and in awe of your creativity. You are rockin’ these challenges! Some of you are hand making cards:
While others are sending out cards they’ve been saving:
And a couple of you are using cards from The Best of Collection (shameless plug):
You don’t know how happy it makes me to see all of your pics. It is truly heart-warming to see that cards are being sent out into the world. Thank you everyone!
And now on to my cards…
Week 1 Challenge: Hello! Is it Me You’re Thinking Of?
The first challenge was to send a card to someone, saying hi/thinking of you. I decided to reach out to a friend that I hadn’t heard from in some time. We’ve kept up pretty consistently through email and sending occasional cards, but have let the busyness of life get in the way. Boo! So I wanted to remedy that and let her know she’s in my thoughts.
* Using one of the awesome sticker freebies you get when you sign up.
Note says:
Dear X,
Just a quick note to say hi & let you know that, while I haven’t been in touch lately, you are in my thoughts. And I hope this card brings a smile to your face cuz it’s so true.
Lots of love,
D
Week 2 Challenge: Make New Friends But Keep the Old
In the spirit of making a new friend, I followed Josh’s lead from his incredible guest post and wrote a favorite encouraging quote inside. I left mine at a craft store.
I wish I could see the reaction of the person who finds it. But I think that stalking the aisle borders on being creepy instead of curiously cute.
If you’re looking for other ways to connect with new people, check out Kara’s post about her InCoWriMo experience and Week 1 of the challenge for a list of reasons to write and who to send a card to.
And here are my ten yellow hearts for the special 300 Simply Leap Spring Hearts Challenge. I’m going to leave mine at random places like the grocery store, places I eat out at, etc. I hope you’ll join us!
Week 3 Challenge: Thank You for being a…friend, pal, confidante, etc.
I’m no stranger to sending thank you cards, but the guest posts from Ryan and Friday’s upcoming post from Sarah really got me thinking. I decided to do two things.
First, send a card to someone who provided stellar customer service and went above and beyond their role. Second, copy (imitation is flattery!) Sarah’s awesome concept – you’ll want to check out the blog on Friday for your chance to participate – by offering to send some fun cards your way if you write to me. I’ll send cards to the first five people that write to me at:

Speaking of sending cards, if you want a chance to win the May Curated Collection go here to enter the monthly giveaway. Yes, I said monthly! For those of you who are new to the PbP community, I offer a chance every. single. month. to win.
Note says:
Dear X,
This is a small token of my sincere gratitude for the incredible support & help you provided. You went above & beyond to make sure that we were all set up for the summit & I can’t thank you enough for making this a much easier process to go through.
Take care & make sure to get away from your desk during lunch 🙂
Best,
Danielle
Thanks so much for joining us for the #sendcardsspreadlove challenge. See you on Friday for the next guest post from Sarah with The Paper Chronicles – you DEFINITELY don’t want to miss out on getting paper swag.
You featured my card haha! Thanks!
