April is National Card & Letter Writing Month. Which for us snail mail nerds is a Pretty. Big. Deal. all on its own. But throw in a year-long pandemic & suddenly writing letters becomes more meaningful & significant as we strive to maintain human connection & community, while we’re at home (in isolation or quarantine). It’s truly never been a better time to send a letter.
I probably don’t have to tell you that the power letters have to connect us to one another is pretty incredible. But in case you need convincing, there is truly NOTHING that can compare to sending tangible, physical mementos that can be cherished by the recipient. Handwritten letters can be preserved, re-read and appreciated over & over again. If you want to keep connected with your family & friends, what better way than sending snail mail?
